Translation priorities
- Safety sections — zero tolerance for ambiguity; often require bold warnings and symbols preserved
- I/O and addressing — retain technical identifiers; translate descriptions only
- Ladder/FBD excerpts — comment translation without altering logic labels unless client approves
Series updates
Maintain TM and glossaries per product line. Use change logs for incremental manual revisions to control cost on recurring OEM programs.
QA
Technical reviewer sign-off on safety text; DTP check for tables spanning pages; verify that CE/UL reference sections match target market.
